Dublin has Dublinbikes, launched in 2009 there are centres all over the city enabling the user to park and leave. Like a leap card, annual card costs €25 and a three-day cycle pass costs €5. Each centre has 15 bike stands and you will find near a lot of Irish hotels and guesthouses in the city centre. The first 15 mins are also free on each bike. Good exercise and friendly to the environment, the bikes have created a new type of tourist to Ireland.
Most towns and cities in Ireland will have bikes to rent and tourist information on local routes.
